Quickcom Mobile Network
The Quickcom Network represents relatively new radio technology that has been in use less than
five years. Unlike regular 2-way radio, where many users share a single "party line" channel, our
Quickcom Network has multiple channels "trunked" together. When you, your dispatcher or one of your
fleet wants to make a call, just press the microphone button and the system instantly finds an open
channel and automatically assigns it to your fleet members for the duration of the call. This not
only dramatically cuts channel congestion, it also gives you privacy. Your fleet's "talk groups" are
programmed for specific digital codes. So you hear "dispatch" type calls only within your fleet. and
other fleets can't hear yours. You can also organize your own fleet into private "subfleet" groups
that can talk to each other without being overheard by the rest of your units. The rates for this
service are competitively priced and cost much less than cellular. The Quickcom Network functions
much like a private radio system for each user, without the cost of purchasing and maintaining a
complete and expensive mountain top network of transmitters.
Save $$ by Using TWR's Two-Way Radios
With an average monthly cost of $ 65.00 or more per phone, cellular services offering Walkie-talkie
or Push to Talk features are not always a communications bargain. Coverage can be spotty in some
areas and your Cell phone will not work if it is out of range, which frequently happens in this
region. TWR's 2-way radio service on the other hand, can work through our wide area network and when
out of range it can be simply switched to a direct mode allowing radios to talk over short distances
up to a few miles without the need of a network or tower. This comes in handy for those fishing or
road trips where networks are not available. No Cellular phone can offer this option!
Authorized Kenwood Dealer
TWR's 2-way radio service has abilities for all calls over the air to be heard by your entire fleet
and we can give you the optional ability for selective private calling when needed. Whether you are
dispatching service personnel, construction crews, delivery people or other mobile workers, nothing
beats being able to pick up a radio and calling all workers at once to ask who has a step ladder on
their truck, we need an oil delivery - what truck is free, who has parts to fix a GE dryer, we have
a pickup in Oakland who is near and etc. This cannot be economically accomplished with any cell
phone, as you may have to call each individual user, which is time consuming and expensive!
Call us today for a no obligation demonstration of our network and 2-way radios. We can set you up
with some radios to use for a short time period, so that you can determine for yourself that TWR's
2-way radio will solve your communications problems.
Six reasons to switch to 2-way Radio Service:
| 1. | Our fixed rate billing saves you money on airtime charges |
| 2. | You won't waste time reviewing confusing monthly bills |
| 3. | One to many group calling keeps everyone in touch (not offered at continuously affordable rates by any cellular company) |
| 4. | Eliminates employee private conversations between family and friends which can cause missed business calls |
| 5. | Our equipment lease plan with low monthly charges are lower than most Cellular plans |
| 6. | TWR's team has over 35 years experience in mobile communications and we can come up with a multitude of solutions, whether it is our 2-way network or any combination thereof |
